VVM 2021 Program Eligibility

This three-day virtual program is geared toward students who are citizens or permanent residents of the United States and who identify as a member of a group that is currently underrepresented in business and business education (undocumented students are eligible to participate).

VVM is geared towards students who:

  • Identify as a member of a group that is currently underrepresented in business schools and corporate America (e.g. African American, Latino, Native American, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, or Transgender);
  • Are the first family member to attend college, or from a family with little business education or experience;
  • Are from a school whose graduates are sometimes underrepresented (e.g. attends a community college as part of a four-year degree or attends a predominantly minority college).

Summer Venture in Management Program

In light of the ongoing effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, Harvard Business School will not be hosting external visitors on campus during June 2021. As a result, the Summer Venture in Management Program (SVMP) will not take place in-person this year. We are disappointed but look forward to welcoming visitors back to campus when the university and our community have determined it is safe to do so.
