Impact: Describe the value proposition of your innovation. How will this approach improve health care delivery? (200 words)

Interdisciplinary use of datas from patients behaivior, MD and DMD to reach a holistic analyzing of the current situation. Diabetes and CHD is an interdisciplinary risk problem. Aim is to minimize future risks for those group of patients. ( as i have also presented August 2014 on 12th OUI at HBS/ Prof. von Hippel and on 2nd WOIC in November 2015 Santa Clara/ Prof. Chesbrough).

Evidence: What data do you have to illustrate that your solution works? The more specific, the better. Please share any non-proprietary results including cost savings, improved outcomes, patient satisfaction, etc. (300 words)

I´ve used it in my clinic, it costs a lot of time but as an APP from Clinics or inssurance companies it could make a bigger impact.

Dissemination: Describe your scale up plan including your target market and 2-4 milestones for the coming year. What are the biggest hurdles to dissemination and how do you plan to overcome these obstacles? (400 words)

Hello Dr. Plugmann, I took a quick look at your app. I think it is important to link dental health and medical health. How are you accomplishing this linkage? In the US dental care and medical are poorly coordinated. I understand there is more activity occurring in the EU. David

Hi David, in the EU it might be the same. Especially the General and dental medicine students shared the same admissions criteria to the medical faculty and visited the first years head to head biochemistry, physiology, psychology, physics, chemistry, histology and macroscopic anatomy.
There should be an impuls for coordination :-)
Well, after the first year of the APP i decided to Focus on collegues , they´ve get a Version especially for their Server. So it´s now more something like an social Innovation, the user don´t pay anything and the physicians/ dental medicine doctors pay nothing. Currently we have 6.000 satisfied users in 10 private clinics.
In August i´ll visit at Harvard Business School the 14th International Open and User Innovation Conference, where i´ve presented 2 years ago the scintific study on which this APP is based. Always fascinating this conference :-) Best regards, Philipp (by the way : i´ve studied the first 2 years General medicine, while i had a double Admission/permission for both General and dental medicine, but decided in the 3rd year to Focus on dental medicine and found additionaly a Little Company)

Dear Marie, thanks a lot for your message. Well, currently 6.000 patients use our free APP in 4 dental and 6 General medicine private clinics. The user-friendliness of using less data is in our view the simplicity you Need to Keep the target Group using this free APP (user-friendliness). Indeed we know a lot of highly complex App´s with lots of data that no user uses because to much Information, to much chaos and no fun using it.
To summarize the sense of our (social) free available Innovation : The two-way-relationship between Diabetes or coronaric Heart Disease (CHD) and agressive Inflammation processes over several years in the oral Zone (like Periodontitis in a chronic or agressive manner) is very probable, because agressive pathologic bacteria don´t stop at the head, just because your visiting a dental medical doctor. Endocarditis, Inflammation of Internal Organs and effects on the blood channels is probable to. Solution : good oral Hygiene.
This free App, used by thousands of Patients, high user-friendliness, high user-satisfaction, brings relevant significant risk protection for the future - it is free available in english, russian and german language.
You give as a Patient the Data in : Smoking Y/N, Weight, Food and the DATA from MD (3x) and DMD (3x).
The Algorithm, with history function, give the USER an Output : Color of the Ball (green, yellow, orange, red) plus an risk-number, plus a short advise. I love this APP :-) Best regards, Phil :-)

Hi Marie, we´d some first talks with a VC and a big insurance Company. But still my wife Julia and i discuss about the Progress of this APP. After summer we´ll make the next step :-)
