    Harvard Business School Online and The Greater Boston Food Bank Team Up to End Hunger

    BOSTON—The Greater Boston Food Bank (GBFB) enlisted the help of Harvard Business School Online and its global community of more than 50,000 learners to address food insecurity through an “End Hunger” Challenge. The Challenge called for teams to develop innovative, cost-effective, scalable ways for pantries to deliver nutritious food to clients and develop ideas that could help end hunger in their own communities.       New Survey Shows U.S. Businesses Taking Steps to Foster Culture Of Health, But Room to Grow

      BOSTON—In a new article published today in The Milbank Quarterly, a multidisciplinary journal of population health and health policy, researchers from Harvard Business School (HBS) and Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, discuss the results of a recently conducted study that assessed the current levels of engagement by businesses in a corporate Culture of Health (CoH). Through the research, a tool was developed to measure private sector engagement in health and well-being across four dimensions and a baseline depiction of CoH activities was established. Read more.

      Harvard Business School Announces 2019 Goldsmith Fellows

      BOSTON—Harvard Business School (HBS) has announced the 2019 recipients of its Horace W. Goldsmith Fellowships. Established in 1998 by the Horace W. Goldsmith Foundation and Richard L. Menschel (MBA 1959), a former director of the Foundation and a limited partner at Goldman Sachs, to encourage students from the nonprofit sector to attend HBS, these fellowships enable the School to award approximately $10,000 each to seven to ten incoming MBA students.
