In 2020, some of our most popular videos reflected the business climate amid COVID-19. As the pandemic took hold, our faculty and alumni weighed in on timely topics that many of us were experiencing in the workplace, including Professor Dutch Leonard on how to lead through crises and Professor Tsedal Neeley on how to work remotely. As part of The Creating Emerging Markets project, Professor Joe Fuller spoke with Infosys’s Narayana Murthy about how his vision of leadership and fairness was influenced by Mahatma Gandhi. Alumni Ndidi Okonkwo Nwuneli (MBA 1999) and Mezuo O. Nwuneli (MBA 2003) addressed the Class of 2020 in the first-ever virtual commencement ceremony in the School's history, encouraging graduates to address the current economic, health, and social issues facing the world. Senior Lecturer Jill Avery and Richard Edelman shared what consumers want from brands during the pandemic and what marketers can do to successfully connect and educate customers. At the beginning of the fall semester, Dean Nohria, Professor Jan Rikin, and Professor Matthew Weinzierl held the first-ever virtual welcome event to the Class of 2022.
