Claire Wagner (MD/MBA 2020) has been selected as the student speaker for Harvard Business School’s (HBS) Class Day celebration, held this year on Thursday, May 28. Claire was nominated by her peers and her speech was selected out of more than 50 student speeches. She is the first Class Day speaker with a joint degree from the medical school, and the first Class Day speaker to become a mother while at HBS. MBA Class of 2020 Student Association Co-Presidents Connor Cash and Gaby Goldstein address their class during this year’s virtual Class Day ceremony.

The fellowship is a two-way commitment in which graduating students are offered once-in-a-lifetime opportunities to experience high-impact management positions in nonprofit and public sector organizations for one year at a competitive salary. At the same time, the hiring organizations leverage the experience, energy, and strategic and analytical skills of MBAs in roles that produce immediate results and build long-term capacity.
