Hodgkinson Research Prize competition, held annually by the Independent Sector, a coalition of national nonprofit organizations, foundations, and corporate philanthropy programs. The prize recognizes outstanding published research that furthers an understanding of philanthropy, voluntary action, nonprofits, and civil society in the United States and abroad.
