“Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?”
I learn a lot from my twin babies:
They live simple lives – eating and sleeping;
They make their voices heard – crying all the time;
They dare to take risks – grabbing and biting everything near themselves.
Most importantly, they enjoy and appreciate every moment of their lives, heart and soul.
I will never forget the facial expression of my 10-month-old daughter when she took her very first bite of a citrus. She looked deeply astonished, yet so satisfied. Her message was pretty clear – "How could anything on earth be so good!"
I vividly recalled my own "citrus moments": winning the plant specimens contest in kindergarten, flying for the first time, receiving my first job offer, and kissing the girl I loved – "How could anything on earth be so good!"
For me, life is an ongoing journey to the next "citrus".
