“Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?”
When I was little I wanted to be a comedian. I thought there was something magical in being able to make others laugh. I loved the idea that just by telling a story you could make people forget about their troubles and release this wild and loving emotion. Turns out I wasn't that funny, but the bigger idea has stayed with me: I want to make people feel good, feel lighter, feel better.

When asked what I like best about working with others, I often say that if I can make people feel good, excited and happy about what they are doing nine hours a day, five days a week, then I can feel good about myself. After all, work time is time away from people's loved ones, and time away from their other passions. My belief is that making those hours a positive and respectful learning experience makes people better parents, better partners, better friends and better members of society.

I want to laugh, I want to love, I want to learn and I want to create plenty of opportunities for others to do the same.
