“Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?”
Roller coasters scare me. The overwhelming speed. The stomach-wrenching plunges. The unpredictable twists and turns.

But, that's how I've chosen to live my life. And for some reason, it doesn't scare me.

As an entrepreneur, it's hard to predict what the next day will bring. Some days, you wake up and think you're going to change the world. Other days, you lay awake in a cold sweat and question whether you have the energy to keep going.

I've chosen to live a life of daily rejection.

No, you're too small. No, you're too expensive. No, we won't invest in you. No, we won't partner with you. And it hurts every single time.

But, when you're an entrepreneur, the pain has to be temporary. It can't stop you. It can't distract you. It has to motivate you. Because if you don't keep fighting, there isn't anyone else that will.

I've chosen to live a life where success is the anomaly.

But still, I don't fear failure. I can't fear failure. Because fear of failure, if you let it, is failure. And so fear will not stop me from taking a chance, from giving every ounce of myself to try and make my dreams happen.

My future excites me. The overwhelming speed. The stomach-wrenching plunges. The unpredictable twists and turns. But in my life, what excites me most is the potential to inspire others, to encourage those who are too scared of the ride to at least get in line. Because for me, no matter the ups and the downs, the roller-coaster ride has been amazing and I can't wait to see what's next.
