“Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?”
I want to live THIS day.
I have a lucky past. I grew up watching my father canalizing the gross of his paychecks towards college tuition, English classes, and volleyball traveling expenses for me and my brother. My parents chose my foundation instead of their indulgences. That's what I call my fortunate past, which combined with a lot of luck, allowed me to step into this new world.
Now, my new Harvard education paves the road for stepping back into the real world.
My plan?
I want to be brave enough to follow my heart and create a meaningful life. I want to lose my fear of commitment and fall in love with that non-perfect woman to create my own love story. I want to be the protagonist of my life, not a spectator. This is what I like to picture as my bright future.
However, instead of praising my lucky past or living out of my great expectation for the future, I'd rather live in the present.
I don't want to miss THIS moment. I don't want to cage myself into highly paid 80-hourweeks in exchange for nothing more than a profitable future. I want to unpack my bags and set myself free to ENJOY TODAY and the "little things" of life.
