“Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?”

I want to sometimes fall short of people's Super Woman expectations of me. It will remind everyone I am only human.

Faithfully love hard; no matter how many times my heart is broken. Say "I do" to a man who thinks I am most beautiful when sporting sweats and a pony tail.

Dance at a night club, sober, and not have a care as to what others think of me. Walk into a meeting without fidgeting with my suit or checking my hair in the restroom mirror.

Buy my mom the house I promised her when I was 13-years old. Buy my father the car I promised him just yesterday.

Be remembered as the woman who erased the achievement gap between minority and white students.

Have my grandmother stick around long enough to meet my first child.

Be my best friend's "person."

Live Proverbs 3:5-6.

Introduce my kids to Mickey!
