“Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?”
I've never wanted to set my future down in stone.

At various times in my life I've aspired to be a writer, a neurobiologist, a tennis player, an actor, a sociologist, and a student. Luckily, I never committed fully to any one of these… and got to experience a little of all of them.

If at the end of every one of my years I can say that I've lived deliberately and loved my family, made them laugh every day, and made myself laugh, too, then it won't matter if everything else turns out differently than I expect. In fact, I want to surprise. I hope that in my life I do something that today I could never have anticipated myself doing.
