Why did you choose this path at this point in time?
HBS’ case-based approach intrigued me, and the timing made sense as a transition out of COVID lockdown. An added bonus: living in Boston for a couple years sounded exciting to my husband and me (and our puppy, Ollie).

A leap of faith! New friends to grow with, so much to learn, plenty of restaurants to try, and a whole new side of the country to explore.
Being part of the HBS community is like…
A camping trip with new friends. Although we may leave exhausted, we will be close for years to come and always share a common bond.
As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A lawyer, largely because I wanted an excuse to wear fancy clothes. Little did I know we would end up working from home!
What is your favorite childhood memory?
Horseback trail riding with my family at summer camp. My favorite horse’s name was Pepsi.
Who is one person from your life that you admire the most today?
My grandma Joyce. Despite a year of health challenges, she continues to exude love and compassion to everyone around her. She’s the most servant-hearted person I know.
What’s the best thing about your hometown?
All the lakes and greenery of Minnesota! I love spending time with our families at the cabin – wake surfing, UTVing, and drinking margaritas.
