Our Mission
PRIDE, a Student Club at Harvard Business School, is an association of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning (LGBTQ+) MBA students and partners. Together we work to build community, foster professional development, and encourage advocacy for LGBTQ+ representation at our school and in business.
Our Vision
- We create a supportive environment for emerging leaders to socialize with one another, connect with employers seeking diverse talent, and engage in thought leadership in key areas of business and management.
- In partnership with our allies and alumni, we advocate for our members in conversations about diversity, equity, and inclusion in the wider HBS community.
- We believe that by promoting understanding of the queer experience, we will increase acceptance and advance our equality as business leaders.

Club Membership
PRIDE understands and respects that everyone has a different journey; our members are in control of their own narrative and we have different categories of membership to reflect that. PRIDE members can choose between three types of membership:
- Ambassador – Ambassador Members openly identify as LGBTQ+ or a partner of an LGBTQ+ PRIDE member to HBS and externally.
- Community – Community Members identify as LGBTQ+ or a partner of an LGBTQ+ PRIDE member to other members of PRIDE at HBS, but are confidential outside of the club.
- Informed – Informed Members identify as LGBTQ+ or a partner of an LGBTQ+ PRIDE member and receive our newsletter but wish to remain confidential to the club, HBS, and externally. Informed members are known only by the Co-Presidents, the Chief Operating Officer, the Communications Directors, and the Community Directors (6 club leaders total).

For prospective students, admits, and pre-matriculants wishing to learn more about PRIDE and the larger queer community at HBS, Harvard, and/or Boston, please reach out to pride@studentclubs.hbs.edu and your message will be forwarded to our club’s Admissions Liaisons team of current MBA students. Otherwise, please feel free to reach out to either or both Co-Presidents listed below and your message will be held in confidence.

If you wish to join the club and missed us at the club fair, send an email to pride@studentclubs.hbs.edu or the Co-Presidents and we will be in touch! Your message will be held in confidence until we discuss which category of membership you wish to pursue. Also, we have no club dues!
