Cross-registration is permitted only in MBA Program Elective Curriculum courses and is contingent upon meeting the following criteria:

  • Students must be enrolled in a graduate degree program at a faculty of Harvard University (except the Extension School), the Sloan School of Management at M.I.T., or the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University.
  • Fellows of Harvard University are eligible for cross-registration as auditors with a letter of certification from their sponsoring institute.
  • Approval for enrollment in an Elective Curriculum course must be obtained from your home school Registrar and/or from HBS faculty.
  • A cross-registrant must maintain the status of a student in good standing at one's home school throughout the cross-registration term at HBS.

Please note that MBA Program courses are not open to Harvard University TAP participants.

Cross-registration into the Required Curriculum, or MBA Program First Year, is not permitted.
