With the launch of the Peek Weekend Application last Thursday, the Admissions Team wants to ensure that you’re set up to submit a strong application on time. Below are some quick facts and frequently asked questions to help you navigate the process and decide if HBS Peek Weekend is the right fit for you.

Dates: June 8-10, 2018
Who should participate? College students who are exploring career options and want to understand how the MBA can help them achieve long-term goals. Preference will be given to students who have not had academic or professional exposure (including internships) to business or business-related fields.
Eligibility: Students currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program graduating in Class of 2018, 2019, or 2020.
Cost of Attendance: $200
Accommodations: Included in Cost. Students will be staying in single rooms on-campus.
Application Deadline: April 18, 2018
What is Peek Weekend?
Students enrolled in undergraduate universities and colleges from around the world can get a peek into life as a Harvard Business School MBA student by attending a weekend long event which includes; living on the HBS campus, participating in classes, and meeting students and alumni.  Peek Weekend helps participants develop a greater understanding of the challenges leaders face, and the impact participants can have in their community and the world through organizational leadership. Which kind of courses will we take if we attend HBS Peek Weekend?
Using the renowned case method of instruction, HBS faculty will lead class discussions on current management challenges and opportunities across a broad range of industries and topics. Our faculty are internationally recognized for pioneering research and contributions made to business management.
What opportunities are there to interact with current students, alumni, or staff during Peek Weekend?
Participants will spend evenings analyzing real business cases, and use morning study groups and classes to examine and debate their ideas through lively interaction with peers and faculty. The classroom experience will be supplemented by sessions with HBS staff, students, and alumni.
I’m an international student, am I eligible to apply to attend Peek Weekend?
Yes! Domestic and international students alike are welcome to apply. International students will need to secure a travel visa on their own in order to attend.
If I have already applied to HBS through 2+2, can I still attend Peek Weekend?
Peek Weekend is for prospective students, not those currently going through the 2+2 application process.
Is the admissions decision on a rolling basis?
No. We do not review the Peek applications on a rolling basis. The deadline for the Peek Weekend Application is April 18th. That means that we will not start reading your application until April 19th.
Since many will have to coordinate a day off with their internship employers, when can students expect to receive an admissions decision?
Peek application decisions will be announced on May 7, 2018. If admitted, the MBA Admissions Office will supply a letter explaining the Peek Weekend commitment that you can use to coordinate with your internship for the summer.

Is funding available to cover the cost of attendance or travel?
HBS offers a limited number of need-based aid to cover the cost of the program ($200). Applicants will include information in their application if they would like to be considered for the need-based aid. All participants have to cover the cost of their travel to attend.
