If you are a college student interested in the MBA program at HBS, I highly encourage you to apply to Peek Weekend. As a Peek Weekend participant, you are given the opportunity to visualize whether or not the MBA program aligns with your personal goals. Not only was it an eye-opening educational experience, exceeding even my highest expectations, but it filled me with a profound sense of purpose.

HBS cultivates a community of individuals who are encouraged to jump into the ring and grab life by the horns. Being part of a community that encouraged diversity of thought and celebrated leadership in its many forms felt surreal. Immersed in such a stimulating environment, I could not help but gain new perspective from those around me, enriching the way I think and act on a daily basis. Moving forward, I know I will always carry with me the purpose to create, the purpose to motivate, and the purpose to engage.

Create
Within my Peek Weekend cohort, I connected with a melting pot of peers. Majoring in fields spanning from engineering to philosophy, they were involved in a wide array of projects and initiatives. For example, some of my peers established non-profit organizations to advocate for social change, while others founded startup companies to design and launch innovating products. Despite these differences, everyone shared a contagious entrepreneurial spirit and a purpose to create. This insatiable appetite to turn a vision into reality is precisely what fuels innovation and steers society in exciting and new directions.

Motivate
I must admit, entering my first case study class was quite daunting. However, those nerves quickly melted away due to the unique academic environment facilitated by HBS professors. Each professor channeled a compelling discussion, providing students with an arena to voice their opinions without fear. Rather than passively observe, students were propelled to actively join the conversation. It was inspiring to witness how HBS professors conduct and influence a classroom, naturally exuding a desire and purpose to motivate students. Learning under their leadership was an unforgettable experience.

Engage
Outside the classroom, I had the privilege of meeting HBS alumni and getting a glimpse of their careers. I was amazed to discover the multitude of career paths possible after pursuing an MBA, from politics to the arts. Regardless of their chosen profession, HBS alumni not only pursued their passions, but also utilized them to address pressing issues at the local and national stage. The level of commitment HBS alumni have to their craft is a testament to their drive and purpose to engage as contributing members of society. I aspire to follow in their footsteps to build a lasting legacy to benefit the next generation.
