Resume/LinkedIn Language for VVM Participant Use

We are so excited to have you join us for Harvard Business School’s first-ever Virtual Venture in Management. In response to COVID-19, this unique virtual event was designed to provide college students historically underrepresented in business, with a behind-the-scenes look at the Harvard Business School community and the doors that a business education can open.

The traditional Summer Venture in Management Program is a competitive and fully funded week-long residential program hosted on our campus each summer. Participation in this program has historically been limited to rising college seniors and requires that interested students secure a summer internship and submit an application and essay.

In contrast, the Virtual Venture into Management is a one-time, non-competitive event open to all undergraduate college students. We are excited to have you participate in this event and wanted to provide you with some guidance on how to appropriately capture and frame your participation in VVM.
