WHAT IS YOUR DAY JOB AT HBS?

My official title is Senior Project Manager and Business Relationship Manager between IT and Marketing & Communications. More specifically my day job involves a lot of priority juggling to keep multiple constituents happy and motivated so we can ultimately deliver interesting, well-designed websites, such as the recent redesign of myHBS as well as the current blog you’re reading.

HAVE YOU EVER BEEN A PROGRAM MANAGER BEFORE?

I have not yet been a Program Manager for this program but work as a Program/Project Manager in my day job and feel this will provide a very unique professional development opportunity than what I usually experience in my work.  I am really excited to join this course!

WHAT EXCITES YOU MOST ABOUT TRAVELING WITH STUDENTS AND FACULTY?

I really enjoy any opportunity to work with students and faculty, which is one reason I love working at HBS. I am very excited about getting to know all of you and making the course a success!

WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN IN HOLLYWOOD?

I love movies and how they can reflect as well as influence current culture. I’m hoping this opportunity will provide me with insights into how movies are filmed, produced, and distributed. Also, perhaps, I can grab a walk-on role in the next Hollywood blockbuster? :)

WHAT IS ONE THING YOU CAN’T TRAVEL WITHOUT?

It’s a tie between a picture of my dog Luca and a (hopefully) good book.

IF YOU HAD TO CHOOSE THREE WORDS TO DESCRIBE YOURSELF AS A TRAVELER, WHAT WOULD THEY BE?

  1. Experienced
  2. Organized
  3. Excited!

IF YOU COULD SPEAK ANOTHER LANGUAGE, WHICH WOULD IT BE AND WHY?

Mandarin, which I am trying to learn!  It is the #1 most common language in the world so if I learn it I’ll essentially be able to converse with about 950 million more people!  Also, I’ve always been interested in Asian culture.
