WHAT IS YOUR DAY JOB AT HBS?

I am Associate Director of External Relations Technology. I work with the alumni profile and search directory as well as with the other technology that is used in External Relations.

HAVE YOU EVER BEEN A PROGRAM MANAGER BEFORE?

First time!

WHAT EXCITES YOU MOST ABOUT TRAVELING WITH MBA STUDENTS AND FACULTY?

I am excited to see the MBA students learn, adapt, and react in real-time.

WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN IN YOUR FGI LOCATION?

I hope to be able to catch a glimpse of how business operates differently in Chile.  All of my international travel has been recreational so I feel that this will be a good opportunity to see things through a broader, business-oriented, lens.

WHAT IS ONE THING YOU CAN’T TRAVEL WITHOUT?

Shoes for every different activity.

WHERE HAS BEEN YOUR MOST FAVORITE PLACE TO TRAVEL AND WHY?

My favorite trip so far was to the Galapagos Islands.  It was amazing to be able to travel into the middle of nowhere and look at how each island, with its different flora and fauna, turned into its own unique and magical ecosystem.

IF YOU HAD TO CHOOSE THREE WORDS TO DESCRIBE YOURSELF AS A TRAVELER, WHAT WOULD THEY BE?

 (1) Adventurous, (2) Interested, and (3) Open.

IF YOU COULD SPEAK ANOTHER LANGUAGE, WHICH WOULD IT BE AND WHY?

I wish I could speak everything! I would say that Spanish and French are always on the top of the list but I do not have a knack for learning languages.
