Hi everyone! My name is Chuchu Ajukwu and I am a second year at HBS. I
was on an IFC trip with HBS in which we were exploring investing, private
equity and real estate within London. We kicked off the day by visiting
Unilever House, the recently renovated headquarters of Unilever, in Victoria.
Before undergoing a tour of Unilever House, Paul Pollman (CEO of
Unilever) spoke to us at length about the company’s efforts in promoting
sustainability and corporate responsibility.
As part of the IFC trip, students have been split into groups and assigned
with corporate partners in London. My group was assigned to a local real estate
firm to help market their latest luxury residential development. Here is my
team fueling up before visiting the construction site!
Professor Segel decided to tag along with us for our tour of the
development. The project comprises of just 9 units, one of which will be more
than 20,000 square feet in size!
