Spielberg is a prolific director and producer who greatly influenced the manner in which films are created, marketed, and distributed over the last few decades of the twentieth century. Noted for his exceptional use of special effects and big budget productions, Spielberg has released some of the highest grossing films in history including Jaws, the Indiana Jones trilogy, Jurassic Park, and Schindler’s List. In 1994, Spielberg joined forces with Jeffrey Katzenberg and David Geffen to form a new studio, DreamWorks which has produced Amistad, Shrek, and other major works.
