Morgens is credited with leading P&G through its most significant growth period. He introduced P&G Productions, funding the first television soap operas, as a means to promote P&G products. During his tenure, he introduced the Pampers, Downy, and Bounce brands, acquired Folgers, expanded internationally, and invested heavily in product development. These efforts resulted in a quadrupling of revenues from $1.1 billion to $4.9 billion and quintupling of earnings from $67 million to $316 million.
