Continuing his father’s and grandfather’s tradition of success at Carnation, Dwight Stuart helped increase company sales to well over $2 billion by 1979. During his tenure, he introduced almost 200 new products, and Carnation became one of the country’s leading pet food manufacturers. At the close of his tenure, he orchestrated the sale of the company to Nestle.
