Leo Burnett
A creative genius, Burnett developed longstanding campaigns for such household names as Kellogg’s, Campbell Soup and P&G, and in the process, built one of the largest ad agencies in the U.S. His legendary ad campaigns include Jolly Green Giant, Tony the Tiger for Kellogg's’ Frosted Flakes, the Pillsbury Doughboy, Charlie the Tuna, Morris the Cat for Starkist, the Maytag repairman, and United’s “Fly the friendly skies.” He also is credited with the Marlboro Man, which took Marlboro from less than 1 percent market share in 1953 to the largest-selling cigarette in the world.
