Convening expertise that transcends industry
As we set out to make a plan that would enable anyone to move their treatment forward, we knew we couldn’t do it alone.
We brought in 300+ experts from outside the traditional medical and nonprofit establishment—people who had disrupted age-old industries, and created new ones. They came to us from a wide breadth of companies—from Peloton to PANCAN, and Mass General to Marriott—each one an expert in innovating best practices. We looked to them to learn from their experiences, and understand what it takes to challenge, and change, the status quo.
Together, we built a community and tore apart the cure ecosystem to figure out what wasn’t working. We identified four key areas that needed to be addressed: engaging patients, using data and analytics effectively, designing successful clinical trials, and developing sound investment models. Then, we divided and conquered, setting out to work in each of these four areas to propose solutions to fix the inefficiencies within them.
