Harvard University Health Services is supporting recurring weekly tests through the self-administered testing program. Anyone authorized to be on campus more than 4 hours per week should plan to incorporate testing into their campus access protocol.
Generally speaking, personal travel is still discouraged. However, if students do travel, six is the maximum number of HBS community members (students and partners) allowed to travel together overnight without violating Community Values. Any students who travel outside of Massachusetts must follow HBS’s latest quarantine protocol upon return.
All students arriving to move in or returning from outside of Massachusetts must quarantine. Our goal is to reduce the chances of an outbreak of COVID-19 in our community. Please review the quarantine policies for students living in on- and off-campus housing.
Formal, student organization events are currently prohibited, but we hope to resume these as the public health situation allows. Review this page for event planning protocols on and off campus.
All HBS students and partners may come to campus after completing the Campus Access Protocol.

Partners of our MBA and Doctoral students are considered full members of our HBS Community and are treated as students in terms of campus access. They are not considered visitors or guests. Partners coming to the HBS campus are required to follow the guidelines outlined in our Campus Access Protocol. If they haven’t done so already, we also encourage students to register their partners with the MBA and Doctoral program office, even if at this moment the partner does not anticipate coming to the HBS campus. Please contact partners@hbs.edu with any additional questions.
