Health Care Industry Weeks
The HCI has divided up the enormous health care sector into six industry-focused weeks to better support you. Each week featured an alumni panel, dedicated office hours with the HCI, CPD-related programming, and other industry-specific events. Click Here to review a summary of the industry insights shared. WORKSHOPS
Interview prep sessions, résumé-writing workshops, and career round-tables are organized each year to help students learn more about specific health care industries, prepare for internships, and network with other students and alumni.
CAREER COACHING
HBS health care career coaches hold MBA degrees and have extensive experience in the sector that will help students establish a fundamental understanding of various health care industries. They are available to assist students in career planning, securing a summer internship, and finding full-time job opportunities.
RECRUITING EVENTS
HBS hosts a large number of companies on campus each year for interviews, presentations, and networking events. During the first year, presentations and networking events are organized with recruiters in health care who are looking to fill summer internships and full-time positions. Recruiting partners include leading biotechnology, pharmaceutical, medical device, and diagnostic companies, as well as financial services, consulting, health care delivery, and health services organizations.
ALUMNI NETWORK
HBS MBA students are connected to nearly 80,000 alumni in more than 150 countries. Alumni are available to help current students explore career opportunities. There are many ways to connect with alumni
whether it’s on campus at conferences or events or around the world during
treks and trips. There is also a robust HBS Health Care Alumni Association that works closely with the HCI to provide additional alumni networking opportunities.
