HBS Global Research Centers

Summer Internship Program

The HBS Global Initiative is anchored by a team based in Boston with over 65 staff sitting in key regions around the world to contribute to the school’s global strategy and research. We play a critical role in the School’s efforts to build a deep understanding of and expertise in global business practice and innovation. Each summer we host Harvard College interns to assist with the research and non-research activities of these teams. This provides students a wonderful opportunity to learn about both the work of Harvard Business School and business issues in a particular region.

Internships will be fully funded with stipends depending on country and whether the opportunity will be in-person or virtual. Please see details below and note that application deadlines may vary by location.

We appreciate your patience and flexibility, and will be in touch with more information as it is available.

“
I have nothing but the fondest memories of my time working for HBS’s LARC in Buenos Aires. During my internship I helped the center conduct interviews and research on two large Argentine companies. The experience taught how to identify the political factors that play into a corporation’s ultimate success and to understand the cultural significance of operating in distinct social environments. Aside from the work experience, everyone in the office took me under their wing and truly made Argentina feel like home. It was an amazing summer I will never forget!”

"The biggest highlight of my internship was understanding different industries, learning how business leaders make important decisions, and how HBS develops its curriculum. This was one of the greatest internship experiences I have ever had and I am so thankful for the experience. I also really enjoyed meeting business leaders in person and speaking with them about their respective companies.”
