Experimentation and Evaluation in Operations Workshop

Experimentation and Evaluation in Operations Workshop

22-23 MAY
Home Agenda Organizers Lodging Travel & Directions
Location:
Harvard Business School

On May 22-23, Harvard Business School will host the Experimentation and Evaluation in Operations (EEO) Workshop, bringing together leading faculty and scholars in operations research and management who focus on the design and analysis of experiments.

This workshop aims to foster collaboration and build a community of researchers dedicated to advancing experimental methodologies in operations. While experimental research in this field has grown significantly in recent years, there is currently no dedicated forum for researchers to share insights, exchange ideas, and develop new collaborations. The EEO Workshop seeks to fill this gap. By attending the EEO Workshop, you will connect with top researchers at the forefront of experimentation in operations and gain exposure to cutting-edge research and methodologies in the field.

Workshop Format

The EEO Workshop is structured to encourage discussion, feedback, and early-stage research collaboration. The format will include:

  • Short presentations: Each participant will present their work in a brief, focused talk to encourage dynamic discussions.
  • Attendees are encouraged to present early-stage research rather than published or accepted work. The goal is to receive feedback and spark new ideas rather than showcase completed projects.
  • Small group discussions: Interactive sessions will foster deeper engagement, allowing participants to exchange ideas and provide constructive feedback on each other’s research.
