Empirical Management Conference
Empirical Management Conference
We will be running a two-day conference on empirical management, focused on exploring recent empirical research on measuring and exploring management and organizational practices. We are seeking applied and empirical research papers in both the private and the social sector, including education and health, covering a range of topics in this area. This format follows Empirical Management Conferences at Harvard in 2014, at Stanford in 2015, at MIT in 2016 and the World Bank in 2017. The conference will take place at the Harvard Business School on December 13-14, 2018.
More information about the submission process can be found HERE.
If you are interested in attending, more information about registration can be found HERE. If you are unable to attend, please feel free to download and read the papers as they become available.
Nick Bloom (Stanford), Renata Lemos (World Bank), Raffaella Sadun (Harvard), Daniela Scur (MIT Sloan), and John Van Reenen (MIT)
The conference is generously supported by the HBS Division of Research and Faculty Development. HBS will provide breakfast, lunch and dinner on December 13 and breakfast and lunch on December 14. Please note that all attendees, unless otherwise notified, are responsible for both arranging and funding their own travel and lodging.
