The sales profession continues to bloom, with start-ups redefining the way goods are bought and sold and Fortune 500 firms learning how to manage global accounts. Although the sales profession continues to grow and evolve, academic teaching and research have failed to keep pace. This thought leadership conference intends to showcase the best practices taking place in the field today and to promote discussion between leading academics and senior practitioners.

A broad range of topics will be discussed. The first day will feature keynote speeches and panel discussions. Among the sessions, Jim Lattin (Stanford) will moderate a panel discussion on entrepreneurial selling and Noel Capon (Columbia) will moderate a panel on Key Account Management with industry experts. Mike Moorman (ZS Associates), Neil Rackham and Bill George (Harvard) will give keynote addresses. The second day will consist of workshop discussions on research and teaching in sales.

Our hope is to develop an agenda for research and teaching in leading business schools around the world.
