Frank Pinter is a PhD candidate in the Business Economics program. His research is in industrial organization, focusing on the effects of environmental policy in imperfectly competitive markets. His job market paper studies the effects of a supply-side environmental policy on the electric vehicle market, focusing on the interaction between imperfect competition and product entry decisions.
Frank holds bachelor's degrees in economics and mathematics from the University of Chicago. Before entering the doctoral program, he worked as a research analyst at The Brattle Group, an economic consulting firm.
