Doctoral Student

Crystal Guo is a doctoral student in the Health Policy Management PhD program at Harvard. Prior to pursuing her PhD, Crystal received her B.A. in English and Economics from the University of California, Berkeley in 2019 and completed her Health Policy and Management, Master of Public Health program at the UC Berkeley School of Public Health in 2023. Between undergraduate and graduate studies, she worked at Guidehouse as a Consultant and Senior Consultant in Healthcare Strategy advising clients across payer, provider, and state government. As a Health Policy PhD student, Crystal is interested in studying inter-organizational partnerships across healthcare and social sectors, interdisciplinary teams, and coordination of care for complex patients. Her broad research interests include collaboration, integration, and patient engagement. Crystal is also passionate about teaching and has 7 semesters of teaching experience across her academic career, including undergraduate courses in public health and health economics.
