Ruru Hoong is a PhD candidate in Economics at Harvard & HBS. Her research interests currently span behavioural, public, and labour economics, focusing particularly on the impact of new digital technologies -- and associated regulatory policies -- on education and social mobility. She graduated with a B.A. in Economics from Stanford in 2019, and is a research affiliate at IQSS.
