Marcela Mello has a Bachelor degree in Economics from the University of Sao Paulo, and a Masters degree in Economics from PUC-Rio. She has worked as Junior Analyst at Tendencias Consultoria, in Brazil, covering the agricultural sector. Her main research interests are macrofinance and behavioral finance. More specifically, she is interested in topics such as the interrelation between monetary policy and financial markets, the term structure of interest rates, and the effects of cognitive biases on asset prices.
