Her job market paper is about the value of flexibility to DoorDash drivers and the factors that shape regulation of the gig economy. She is interested in other questions related to the future of work, as well as corporate social responsibility and how companies navigate their commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. She is expected to graduate in May 2024.
Laura has a BA in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from the University of Michigan, as well as a BBA from the Ross School of Business. Before graduate school, Laura worked for 3 years as a management consultant for universities and hospitals, and served as a research assistant.
