Aurora Turek is a PhD student in the Organizational Behavior program at Harvard Business School. Her research focuses on understanding how to make work more flexible and break the increasingly common norm of overwork. Through her research, she aims to develop interventions that enable more flexible work and give workers more balance between their work and personal lives. Additionally, her work explores the factors that affect women’s advancement into higher-level professional positions.

Prior to attending Harvard, Aurora worked as a Research Coordinator in the Management Division at Columbia Business School. She earned a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Michigan.
