Innessa Colaiacovo is a doctoral student in the Strategy Unit at HBS and the principal investigator of the Hiring at Top Startups (HATS) Study.
Innessa's primary research interests are in entrepreneurship and labor markets. She earned her AB in Economics and French Studies from Brown University (magna cum laude) in 2012, and her MSc in Economics in 2018. She subsequently worked as a Research Assistant at the National Bureau of Economic Research in Cambridge, MA as well as at IESE Business School in Barcelona, Spain. She also spent a year working in the Canadian House of Commons as part of the Parliamentary Internship Programme.
