Description
Nanda is working on a project that studies how management of conflict of interest influences professional identity, the role of professional associations, and the boundaries of professional service organizations. He suggests ways of managing conflicts at the levels of the individual practitioner, the organization, and the profession.
Nanda is also studying the organizational strategies of professional service firms. With research colleagues, he is currently working on projects that (a) trace the movement of 'star' professionals across firms and thereby shed light on how professional service firms attract and retain talented professionals, and (b) study the impact of following different growth strategies on long-term survivability of professional service firms. In addition, he is exploring the relationship among professional service firms product market, labor market, and capital market strategies.
