Vehicle Lifecycle Emissions Calculator
Abstract
This Vehicle Lifecycle Emissions Calculator calculates the greenhouse gas emissions over the lifespan of internal combustion engine (ICEs) vehicles, battery electric vehicles (BEVs), and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV), including those associated with their materials (supply chain), production, use, and end-of-life disposition.
This tool enables you to see the emissions impact of alternative levels of (1) carbon intensity of the battery production process for BEVs and PHEVs, (2) carbon intensity of the electricity used to recharge BEVs and PHEVs, and (3) vehicle lifespan distance.
