Abstract
Pre-Abstract: Instructors should consider the timing of making videos available to students, as they may reveal key case details.
Abstract: Fail Safe Testing, Inc., founded in 1988, was the leading provider of fire hose pressure testing, ground ladder and pump testing services to independent fire houses, municipal fire departments, fire districts and corporate fire departments in the eastern United States. Tony Bautista had acquired Fail Safe Testing in June 2014 which brought to a close his twelve month search for a smaller firm to own and operate. Bautista's medium and long-term plans were to step-up Fail Safe's new customer marketing so he could add one new crew each year. The company served a very large, unpenetrated market and Fail Safe had done minimal marketing, adding most of its customers by word of mouth.
