Abstract

In the height of its success, Bugs Burger Bug Killers (BBBK; Burger has a soft 'g' - it rhymes with merger) was the largest independent extermination company in America, growing at more than 20% per year. BBBK built its business on the promise of pest eradication, rather than the industry-standard promise of pest control. Set in 1985, this case is based on a manuscript about BBBK written by Professor William Fulmer in the early 1990s. This version has been revised to include archival documentation provided by the company.
