    Shara Ticku is the CEO and Co-Founder of C16 Biosciences. C16, the makers of Palmless™, has developed a biomanufacturing platform to produce better-for-you, better-for-planet ingredients. She has served as President and as a member of the board of directors since the company's inception in 2018. C16 Biosciences has raised approximately $40 million in funding from Y Combinator, multiple venture capital funds, the Gates Foundation, the US Department of Defense, and more. Before founding C16 Biosciences, Shara worked at Goldman Sachs, the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI), and held positions with Progyny and the United Nations. Shara holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA/BBA from the University of Texas, where she double majored in Plan II Honors Program and the Business Honors Program, with a minor in Finance. Shara currently serves as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Harvard Business School and an Emerson Collective Dial Fellow.
