The Tulsa Massacre and the Call for Reparations: The Loss of Dreams
Oklahoma State Rep. Regina Goodwin describes the loss of generational wealth stemming from the 1921 Tulsa Massacre in which an estimated 300 African Americans died. Goodwin, a descendant of race massacre survivors, is the protagonist of a new case study, the Tulsa Massacre and the Call for Reparations, written by Professor Mihir Desai following the 2020 murder of George Floyd.
