Responding to Racial Injustice with Reparations
Survivors of the 1921 Tulsa Massacre and their descendants have continued to push the government of Tulsa, Oklahoma to pay reparations for the massacre – even 100 years later. Can historic social injustices be addressed through reparations? In his case, “The Tulsa Massacre and the Call for Reparations,” Professor Mihir Desai uses the Tulsa Massacre and other historic examples from around the world to encourage students and business leaders to consider this question, and the role of business in responding to racial injustice.
