Policies and Procedures for Students Enrolled in the MS/MBA Joint Degree Program
All MS/MBA Joint Degree students must adhere to the policies and rules of both schools
in which they are matriculated: Engineering Sciences (HBS & SEAS/Graduate School of
Arts and Sciences) and Biotechnology: Life Sciences (HBS & SCRB/Graduate School of
Arts and Sciences).1
If not stated explicitly in each program's respective handbook below, and the policies for Engineering Sciences (HBS & SEAS/Graduate School of Arts and Sciences) and Biotechnology: Life Sciences (HBS & SCRB/Graduate School of Arts and Sciences) are in conflict, the HBS policy will serve as the policy. Exceptions to the policies listed in each program handbook are considered by petition to the faculty directors, who will review the petition together with the appropriate administrators:
Special Note: Joint degree students should assume attendance is required for all joint degree course sessions, and any variation to attend must be discussed with the individual faculty instructor in question.
