Six Feet Under is from his series “Fogeys,” which, in the artist’s words, consists of “kitsch, cartoon-like photographs of people growing old disgracefully.” This photograph is one of two works by the artist in the Schwartz Art Collection. The “Fogeys” series was published in a book and exhibited at the Institute of Contemporary Arts in London. Stewart has also exhibited at the National Portrait Gallery, London and has received an award from the Royal Photographic Society.
