Markus Linnenbrink studied at the Gesamthochschule in Kassel and the Academy of Fine Arts, Berlin. To create this work, the artist blended pigments with epoxy resin in an array of colors, and then applied it in layers over a background of photographs. Linnenbrink lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.
