Born in Indianapolis in 1972, Ian Davis lives and works in Los Angeles. He has participated in exhibitions at museums and galleries throughout the United States, including a solo exhibition in 2010 at the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art in Kansas City. His dystopian views of fictional sites peopled with tiny figures are meant to be a commentary on contemporary culture and humanity’s treatment of each other and the environment.
